What Is the Best Transportation Between Miami Beach and Key West Other Than Driving?

I have a visit to Miami beach and Key West in March, and I am wondering what is the best way to go from Miami to Key West other than driving?

High-speed catamaran from Miami to Key West. Leaves from Downtown Miami near the Port (Bayside, I think), takes a few hours to get to KW. You can come back the same day. Getting a cab from MB to downtown is easy.

There are party cruises that you can take down there from Miami Beach. They take about 3 hours or so. I reccomend staying in a hotel though rather than coming back the same day because nothing happens in Key West until sunset anyways. If all else fails just take a drive. I happen to think its a relaxing beatiful drive. Rent a convertible!
